By enclosing the covered common area beneath C-block’s 1st storey, we can create potential T&L (teaching and learning) or support space, adding up to 121sqm of usable area for the University of Johannesburg's APB Campus. With a third of the space unaffected, primary circulation remains seamless, ensuring a functional and efficient integration with the existing building.

The design creates an eye catching juxtaposition between the existing brutalist type structure and contemporary modern architectural cladding techniques.
